hi everyone, hope you are all well, been sorting out more stuff today and came across these, there are 6 small cups, saucers and teaplates, the mark is quite clear but i cant find any record of it, they are quite delicate, i would say bone china, can anyone help?  would love to be able to help someone else for a change, but unfortunately dont know enough especially about german stuff etc, maybe one day i will.  Cathy (the marks says s n and underneath Lucerne)

I can tell you where it was made. That's the Staffordshire knot at the top there. The pattern name will be Lucerne. And from the look of it it's porcelain. Exactly what does it say in the shield. You'll have to ask Father Christmas for a digital camera with a good macro  ;D . Meanwhile I'll keep looking.

Nice china I have had a look in Godden and the mark is for "SALT & NIXON LTD Gordon Pottery (Jublee Works from 1910), Longton, Staffordshire Potterys, 1901-1934"

The mark on your cup and saucer as near as I can tell could be1901-1921.
Can you get a better photo?
