Hi there, and Welcome to the Board  :cheerleader:

I thought this looks like a T and L and a P.  Maybe TLP, or TPL ?  So I googled this, and I did come up with this - but am NOT sure if it is the right person or not.

T P L -- T P Ledgar -- Longton -- c.1900-5 (?) that I found at this site:  http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/t/index.html and just scroll down

or maybe the (pottery) at Longton School of Art (TLP= The Longton School of Pottery) ??

or If the TLP is for sort of correct - could the L be for a town of Longton at all (????)

http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=53377  (scroll down, as does mention about pottery here)

Of course, this is just a GUESS since I do not know too much about UK pottery (if it is that...) but others here will know more than me...

 ;)

Hi That is great, I did not think it may be more than 3 letters, I have been messing about with this for days, I run a independant charity shop, so i get lots of goodies in, so I like to get the best price for things if I can, hence my 2 requests on the forum, at least now I have some names to look at.
Much appreciated
  :)

Hazel, it might also be worth having a look through this site which caters for studio pottery rather than porcelain: http://www.studiopottery.com/ - useful to bookmark as a reference as well. ;)
Cheers!

....but I will keep hunting

We ALL will keep hunting.

I have a piece of painting posted here that has a bunch of letters twisted into each other too....so that is why I thought I saw *more* letter here too...and they could be in any order TPL, TLP, LPT, LTP,  PLT, PTL IF those are the correct letter there should be on 6 combination of them....IF they are the right letters, as I thought I saw (?)

Then again, maybe one of the letters is an I (?) so then there would be another 6 combos with that letter.  Eg IPL, LIP, LPI...you get what I mean..
