Art Deco Pitcher
« on: February 03, 2011, 03:23:18 AM »
Wondering if anyone recognizes who might have made this white pitcher?  The only clue is that there is a faint USA mark on the bottom.  I have more pictures of it here - http://oldantiquepottery.info/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8

Hi there.

I think I have seen this somewhere before -- but I can not recall.  Is it Art Deco item, or just a more Modern *stylized* pitcher I wonder.....or from the last 20 years??

Wonder if anyone one else has an idea.  Can you post a clearer shot of the base, and the mark.  Try different lighting sources to accent the faint mark on the base...

thanks, look forward to it   :cheerleader:

Might it just be a contemporary item ??

Then also might it be (just) a pitcher when using the Net, or it might be referred to a water pitcher, Milk Pitcher.  What was the size of it?

....And do you have a closer pic of the bottom??

Hi there -- I found this while I was on the Net.  Scroll down to near the bottom....But this is a GOLD SUGAR set....but it is label PEARL CHINA CO.  The item (in Gold) that is the 11th item from the bottom....

The flair of it kinda reminds me of your Pitcher -- same idea (maybe)  ??? as a suggestion ??
