Gosh, thats weird! I'm not sure what kind of bone it is. I'm not sure I want to know.  :24:

It's got a little man carved in the centre. I'm going to wash my hands now.

It's similar and definitely some kind of bone. Might be worth more than the 50p i paid for it?   :x-fingers:

Bone usually has tiny holes in it,blood vessels,forget the medical term,hope it's ivory,old stuff that is ;D ;D

I believe the term you are looking for is bone marrow (where blood cells are created)
