Is this lion made by poole pottery?

Hi, it would be to easy if this were marked poole but im afraid its not, it is the same colour as the common poole pieces and i have searched for this piece but cannot find, i think their is a lion made as a trial piece but this one is a standing model as appose to lying down, any info is appreciated, Thanks in advance. Robert.

Poole I do not know much -- but others know more.....I do not think I have ever seen (or knew) it was a poole item, so best wait for someone else here....
