Here is a bunch of Lucite grapes -- about 18 inches long of them. I put a ruler down in front of them. Have any info on these, let me know.

All I've found really is the Wikipedia link for Lucite which says:

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or poly(methyl 2-methylpropenoate) is the synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate. This thermoplastic and transparent plastic is sold by the tradenames Plexiglas, Limacryl, R-Cast, Perspex, Plazcryl, Acrylex, Acrylite, Acrylplast, Altuglas, Polycast and Lucite and is commonly called acrylic glass or simply acrylic. The material was developed in 1928 in various laboratories and was brought to market in 1933 by Rohm and Haas Company.

and that is was popularised in the 1960s.

I just found this, and thought I would pass it on.  It appears that ALTAGLASS here in Canada made Grapes (resin type) as a Special item.

Article says AltaGlass made these, and sold them for a Few years -- and I think mine look like the ones there...

So good to know, and good to know for the Glass collector -- even if not glass, still made by a  Glass Company (Canadian)
