This one i am the only one in the house that likes it and that`s why it lives with me in the cubbyhole .I think it is probably a student`s study? Height 6"

Know how you feel! The head,to me looks like it should hang up? is there anything on the back?if it was a student piece wouldn't he/she have finished  the back of the head? just thinking out loud,it looks like a cross between Bobby Charlton and Patrick Stewart! :o ;D

It might be a preparatory piece to be made again in some other kind of material.  Or as you say a student piece, which has been hung on the wall as part of an exhibition of work.  No need then to do anything about the back as no one would see it.

Hang it over a coat hook in the hallway.  A great deterrent to a burglar peeping through your letterbox.  :o  :thd: ;D
