Anyone more information on this cup/mug? Would like to know the design name please. Form nr 4521A. Isn't it pretty? It's my favourite coffee mug/cup.

Thanks alvast, Bas

I am a collector of Annelise Beckh scoophead cats as she designed the Tigris decor cat in 1955 which was my very first scoophead cat I bought.

The decor is listed in Kevin Grahams "Just Decors Book" as decor number 1798 and was not given a name.  I have a scoophead cat in this decor and will post asap.

The black and white scoophead cat is a schmider/zell cat in decor 1798 and the  other 2 cats are Arthur Woods Scoophead cats. We believe AW were given permission from Schmider/zell to make these cats which are just over a inch smaller than the Schmider/zell versions.

Annelise Beckh designed the very first Scoophead cat in the Tigris decor in 1955 in her first year working for Schmider/zell she left in 1983. her designs were made we assume by 3 companies "Schmider/zell, Arthur Woods and we " Kevin Graham" author of over 13 books about German pottery and myself are investigating further who is the 3rd company. Will keep you posted.
