Pottery Beakers - Disley? - ID = C D Nowell of Disley
« on: August 02, 2007, 12:31:19 PM »
I've been trying to track down some information on these two pottery beakers. A greenish celadon coloured glaze on the outside, bluish on the inside. They are marked on the bases. The last bit is "M Disley". The first word could begin with "S" but I'm not sure.

There is a potter called Susan Disley but the first word looks to have too many letters so I think that might be wishful thinking.

I couldn't find anything about a potter / pottery working in Disley the place ???

Hopefully, I've attached a couple of photos.

Thank you for any help / ideas.
