Carrigaline Pottery, what's the decoration?
« on: November 03, 2007, 10:31:35 PM »
My first question here, goody-goody!!

I have a creamer & sugar marked Carrigaline Pottery Cork. Not too hard to figure out where it came from, but can someone help me understand the Coat of Arms or Family Crest or whatever the thingy is?

Don't think that is a coat of arms. I think it is simply a celtic style cloak broach. Nice looking one though.

Thanks! I have checked the usual places (ebay, google, several Celtic image websites) & found the plain shamrock design on other Carrigaline but not the central design. Oh well, they are taking a peroxide soak right now & then I'll decide what to do with them.
