Gregorian Copper (??)
« on: June 24, 2008, 02:25:22 AM »
Hi I have this.  It is *signed* on the bottom with Gregorian Copper 405.  It is like a hammered bowl, with candle holders on each end?  i have no idea whether older, or new?

Any ideas as to date, or value of it, or any info at all....like where made?  TIA

There's one here: http://www.oldcopper.org/Marks%20G.htm listed in New Mexico in the 1980's - mark isn't the same but there are similarities.
Cheers!

Was looking at some of my past stuff and found this item on Ebay:

Click Here Please Hand Hammered Copper Pitcher

Another item too

And more pages here - WORTHPOINT

I thought copper had some value to it.  You hear about thing (like in USA) people stealing copper stuff out of high communications poles FOR THE $$ OF IT.....and IF hand hammered (???)
