Hi, I found this at a garage sale.  They wanted $2  :o for it.  I offered $ 1, and got it.  Still researching but I think I did very good ($$).

Not sure if this bakelite, gutta percha, or argillite....so far, leaning towards the last one (argillite), as see this web page:

Frequently found in tourist shops on the west coast. I think it's argilite as well, but it could be resin cast. How heavy is it?
