We've still got the orangey sausage cat...I saw one selling the States for ?100 so thought I'd jump in and started it on ebay at ?25 but got no interest at all.  ??? that was a year or so ago so maybe I'll try again later in the year.

Not sure if he is Bitossi though? He's not marked.

Amazing glaze on the red cat - never seen that before. You're lucky I didn't see it Martin I would have snapped it up. I see that it has been re-editioned but only in Rimini Blu.

There's a guy on Ebay selling new stuff but not saying its new. I guess most people like stuff to be marked and don't realize that means it's new - a pet irk of mine.
Is the clock marked ? I had an idea that's new.
By new I mean since Flavia / Gruppo Colorobbia took over and started marking but I don't actually know when that was. Anyone ?

What is a typical base like please?  I let a little Italian horse go yesterday because I really wasn't sure if he was good or not... he was that bright turquoise colour, very very sweet, just said Italy in a very paintbrushy way, if that means anything to you?

I picked up this nice lamp base. What sort of date are these please? The mark says L41/18 Italy, so you never guess   how tall it is  ;D

I had suspected this may be Bitossi Rimini Blu (from pictures on ebay and this forum).

Its 12.5" Tall, 5.5" Diameter and has white showing under a couple of chips to the glaze.

No markings that I can see....

Can anyone tell me more about it please?

Thanks

and here's mine. Hand written Italy and number to base, so also not of recent vintage  ;D
