I have a small Vallauris collection,Prices are not very high for that type of tableware.
I would say ?60.00 would be top dollar but in auction and outside France,it may sell for less than half that.
I do like it though.

I came across this absolutely incredible Vallauris coffee set whilst trawling the net for something else (it's very much like the one Della has posted above).

http://www.lepoix.de/html/mid_century_modern/mid_century_modern_t20070003.htm
How can the condition be "excellent" when the coffee pot has obviously lost its lid, and I can see a fleabite chip to the spout (neither of which is mentioned in the description?)

I don't like that.

But I do like the coffee set!  <perks :24: up a bit at that>

LOL I didn't see that Lynne - I was just blinded by the overall look - it's a very informative and elegant site as well I think.

edit: I've just had another look at the photos and I'm pretty certain the tip of the spout isn't chipped Lynne - I know why you thought that but it looks to me like the white glaze.

Looking again, perhaps you are right (apologies in that case to the webmasters) I thought I saw a little dent on the profile one,but the more I look the more glazey it seems.

Do you think it should have a lid on the pot though?
