A total puzzle bowl
« on: August 12, 2007, 12:44:34 AM »
I'll probably never know who made this bowl but it's been a favourite piece ever since I bought it way back in the late 70's from a sale of work at the college in Lancaster. All the work was produced by the students and I just fell for this small bowl and it came home with me - I seem to recall paying somewhere around 75p for it.  The base is dark speckled brown and the top is mossy green with streaks of dark blue and some earth colours which overflows down the sides, whilst inside is mossy green . It's about 4" diameter and 2?" high and beautifully made. The sad thing is that I have no idea who made it and it's not marked. It did have a sticker on it at the time but in my youthful ignorance stickers went almost as soon as I bought things, so now I have no idea who made it.  ::)
Cheers!
