Sinclair Magazines
« on: July 08, 2017, 03:16:35 PM »
Just found out i have a first edition Sinclair Programs magazine. A search suggests it was worth around £8 on ebay in 2013. The other two are Sinclair Programs no 3 and Sinclair User no 10. Some of these magazine came with cover tapes but not the early ones. These particular ones are full of basic programs for programming various Sinclair computers. The computers were made by Clive Sinclair, also famous for the Sinclair C5 and Sinclair calculators. My first computer was a Spectrum +2, gosh i feel old now.

heh heh heh It seems so long ago! Barry's first computer was a Sharp PC-1211 which he still has, although it no longer works. It dates from early 1980s!  :thd:

That's quite early, searching around, the first home computer came out in 1976 called the Compucolor, which was pretty much a failure as it only sold a few thousand units.

Gosh! I didn't even have a calculator in 1976, never mind a computer! I bought my first calculator in 1981 when I moved to London. I still have it (and the receipt for it!) it still works and it's only on its 2nd set of batteries! :)
Cheers!
