Hi Bas,

A thrift store is similar to our Kringloopcentrum   ;)

I love that album best of the Beatles' stuff. I've got one tucked away as well.

That record was released on the  EMI Parlephone label, and have a CD issued on Apple lable, so don't understand the Decca label at all.Emmi

Actually it is possible that Decca did the distribution in Canada in same way as Capitol did it in America, so perhaps that's the explanation.  Emmi

The back cover seems to have a capitol logo on it - could the disc be a test pressing, EMI might have had to share pressing out due to nos of discs required? Do you have a catalogue number. This is intriguiging as Decca never released it! Parlophone/Capitol and Apple/emi/toshiba for reissues. Is it mono or stereo? Any dates anywhere?

There's only one mention of a Sgt Peppers contract pressing in my record book.

Parlophone/Nimbus PCS 7027 (from Practical HI-FI magazine, mail-order only, Nimbus pressing).
