South African pot
« on: August 15, 2007, 08:30:41 PM »
Hey kids,
I've a pot which is from somewhere in South Africa ... in fact I have two - and I've seen a third one on ebay.
I've tried to suss it out  ... but to no avail!

... So ... anyone seen this stuff before? (I must say that the painted work is absolutely amazing - I love it!)

... I should add that the letters and numbers at the bottom are (I think) R for Rand ... and the 34 might be the amount ... followed by some sort of code )I don't think it is the year) ... the bottom mark has been added later ... in felt tip pen!!
