Jersey Pottery Photo Frame
« on: August 20, 2007, 12:01:15 PM »
This photo frame was also bought in Jersey in 1988.  (The picture is of my dear old mum, on holiday in Cornwall with us a few months before she died.  A lovely lady!)

Thanks, Sue  :-*  My boys all loved her better than they love me!  ::) I just hope my grandchildren will love me as much as my boys loved their 'Nan'.

However, I'd love to know who was responsible for the photo frame!  I really love the effect of the different colours in the glaze, and the way the white swirling lines appear to be scratched into the underglaze to create the flower and leaf effects.  But there's no painter's mark on the base ???
