I love John Clappison - I had three of his tall figures (no pics anymore sadly) and they were very attractive.  I believe he is still producing Muramic plaques by himself  - I can't find a web link to him, but some are featured here http://www.woodward8.freeserve.co.uk/hornsea4.htm

the piece of Hornsea that realy inspires me is the woman figure that was designed by Clappison and modelled by Alan Luckham in 1962.
Anyone know the piece?

This piece has fascinated me for years,the detail is superb and the finish faultless.
I would give my eye-teeth to own it.
