Topic: Not Scheurich

Last summer I posted this pot stating confidently that it's Scheurich but I was corrected and came back to check up on what was said. However I can't find the topic anywhere.
I think it was Dumler (spell ?) and Breiden... can anyone confirm ?
In searching for the thread I found noticed one posted by Ronnie Rons in the Scheurich thread which looks like it has a similar effect only in red. It was a tall piece marked 520-28 and posted on October 27, 2007, 10:45:31 pm

Pete, it's definitely a Scheurich piece, I have one in red flames.

Lovely to see you.  There's been a lot of water under the bridge and things have altered a bit round here. Many posts have had to be deleted, so sometimes things don't make sense

Now I wonder which one I am remembering as D&B.

The original thread for this one caused a bit of a stir. I referenced an online site which gave the numbering system which I had some confidence in as I understood that Forrest had been working with the guy to update and correct it.

Turned out that Forrest hadn't yet started doing that.
 
Kev rubbished the whole database including my Scheurich attribution from it and confidently gave a diffenet name which i thought was D&B.

The webmaster for the database admitted that it was far from complete and had been gradually building it up from known examples and that it was primarily meant for his own use and subsequently took it offline. So that's the history of this missing thread. Anne has now explained to me why some posts were deleted.

Bas. I want to believe you and I can see from your website that you have done some sterling work with labels. etc. I also know how seriously you Dutch guys take your research. I have seen, first hand, Ivo Haanstra's "Wall of glass" (boxes) all referenced to a database and when I ask to see a particular small piece he produced it with 2.5 minutes !

Hi Pete I don't think you posted this piece before (the one with flames). I searched on your name before I answered. I think the answer is the flamey piece with a handle is Scheurich and the yellow waisted piece is D&B (and the one that started the small ruckus about poor attributions)
