Topic: Helsinki Harbour..painting ??

Just got this, it says Helsinki Harbour, but for the life of me, I have NO idea what the name is for this.....any ideas, guess, educated guesses.....



Have some more to post, but will do either later, or tommorrow.  Got to have Supper....

It looks like it might be a pastel painting Rose... is it behind glass or not?

The initials looks like they may be BA...?

No, not behind any glass...and it does not smudge....

To me, the artist made looks like a lot of letters, like......L E B F T A C H

the L has extra lines to make like an E. then the E is made into a B.  Then looks like a little F there, a T, A, CH......

Are those the dates behind the names  , as I don't think it is THAT old -- IF those are dates....I think I would be laughing all the way to the Bank.....lol.

Why not be proud of their names, rather than to put into somekind of crytic mumble-jumble on the painting.....geeeeeeeezzzzz

Yeah....I do not think it is that old.....still trying to figure this out.  It has to be a last name, or could it be the whole name (first and last)....
