This one finished a while back, but was a cracker.... I had to pay through the nose for him though, so not a lot of profit left..

 :-\

I've got Tabitha Twitchett, but she's broken and glued together - had her donkey's years, birthday/christmas present from Mother at some point.
I'm just gobsmacked at the price raised by the horse - 'fraid I'd have paid to have it taken away! Some things I just do not get.....

Now, a lovely Jeremy Fisher would be another matter entirely.

When I was very young, I used to quote Jeremy Fisher a lot. Adults seemed to be very amused by the line;
"....and the water was all slippy-sloppy in his back passages."
for some reason I did not understand.
Growing old is inevitable. Growing up isn't.

Ah yes Jeremy....he is sweet.. Haven't had him for a while now. Did you know that if he has stripey legs he is less valuable than if you find him with spotty legs?

I do like Susan...

techspeak:  Anne, she isn't on my hard disk any more, so I can't add her as an attachment - how do I make a thumbnail clickable to a larger pic?

Hi Lynne, if it's your pic is online you can right click it and save to your PC and then upload as an attachment....

or if you want to link to the existing location, use the code like this:

Code: [Select]

which gives you this clickable thumbnail effect:

Hope this helps. :)
Cheers!

That's great, I couldn't get it to work, because I had the url inside the img instead of the other way round!

Ahhh I see, no it wouldn't do Lynne. It's got to be the right order or it fails.
Cheers!

I have some Beswick from time to time.

Here's an unusual vase / planter (1950's I think) and a rare Zimmy Lion Animalands character (only produced 1949-1955). This series was designed by Disney cartoonist David Hands. Oh, and a (spotted) Jeremy Fisher for chopin-lizt! 1973-74 version BP3A backstamp.

TC your Beswick bowl was up for grabs at an auction I was at today - plain pink version but the same shape. Sold for £28, if that is any help for you.

I sold the bowl in 2005 for £13, it had horrible looking spider cracks on the base side though.

The Tabitha Twitchett figure made £26.00.

Gareth, what a cute lion - I've never seen those before. I love your Jeremy Fisher though - frogs are only second to bunnies in my affections.  :bny:
Cheers!
