Any clues on this hand painted vase...

It reminds me of Canadian pottery but i don't think it is. Judging by the mark on the base it probably comes from the middle-east? I could be wrong though. Other than that, no idea.

PS, I paid the top price i usually pay!  ;)

It must be a cheaper version of Moroccan pottery, unless it's really ancient. The glaze is peeling in places, but that might be a sign of cheapness rather than age.

Any other marks around the outside edges at all?  Can you make out any of the marking on the bottom - or is it just me...   ;D

No other marks. The marks on the bottom are a bit blurry.
