Vintage Luggage (Train Cases)
« on: March 14, 2010, 06:49:19 PM »
Hi, I have this.  Now I think this is from the 60's/70's era....and I did find on the Net that GLOBETROTTER was the official luggage used by the Royal Family.  Like most things in the Past - when someone like the Royal family is seen with something - the public wants to mimic this, and the demand then comes hot.  Seemed everyone had these back years ago, but several were made by different companies.  Being a Globetrotter (vintage) does this make this any more desirable?

It is missing it Mirror, brush and comb that looks like it had.  Thanks for any info...

I think its the sort of thing we'd call a vanity case here.  I remember them being a must-have in the 60's.  Vintage luggage seems to be very collectable.

They seem to fetch a lot of money.
