Hi there -- That looks most interesting.

I think I have seem something like that before ----->

:hby: (Anne, didn't Della have either something like a Painting, or picture of this kind of pic -- in the past??  I think we talked here somewhere about art like this -- do you remember that too??)  :hby:

I will look around to see what I can find -- I have not see a plate like this at all...and maybe when (busy) Anne (or others) show up -- they will have more info too.

Its a bit Marc Chagall like.   May be that's what you were thinking about Rose?

Could it be Ireland followed by the date?

If you look at an image of Marc Chagall's The Wedding, it seems to have been inspired very much by it.  Perhaps it is a blank that has been decorated and fired.  I'm just thinking of a touristy place not far from where I live, where blanks of all shapes can be painted on.  These are usually signed and dated, and probably the name place added as a memento of a visit.

I was thinking the same as t'other Anne too, Vickie and Rose, perhaps a self-painted blank - perhaps a hobbyist, or similar. I did wonder if the surname was Ireland too...  can't add any more though, and I don't recall Della having anything like this either.
Cheers!

Hello everyone, thankyou for your info. Yes Now I look at it, it does look like "Angela, Ireland". I think that they must be quite a talented artist, even if it is an amateur.
I have looked at his pictures in google and your definatley right, that it is influenced by his style.
Thanks again for the detective work!
Best Wishes
Vickie
