hi, picked this up at carboot yesterday for 50p, feels like a good piece, not sure on origin?
this was rather dirty before cleaning, looks like its made from teracotta? would guess probably 50's / 60's marked on the base       F.H.
                                                                  781 G? e?

anyone got any info or ideas as to whom this might be?

Thanks

Robert

Hi Rose,  the marks book i have states that fishley holland has impressed printed mark, the mark on this vase is like its written on, although they did use terracotta red type clay
and is marked FH, but my instinct on this vase is that this is not british made, i could be wrong but maybe this is continental maybe scandinavian? Italian or german made? :hb:

Although ive had some good fortune with the research on this vase, i have a old jug that i was going to put on here but while looking for the vase above i stumbled across a desmant french jug in the same style as the one i have :) i had this along time & never knew what it was :)

Thanks for helping me on this, i appreciate all the help i can get

Thanks

Robert.
