In north Yorkshire, their website states, "Established in 1971, we are the longest established working pottery in the Yorkshire Dales." Ingleton Pottery is a family business: Dick, Jill and Dan Unsworth. Dick has the distinction of being a one-handed potter, which must present a few challenges in potting! Having watched him work, I can say the lack of a hand doesn't seem to hold him back!
