Canadian Pottery trying to figure Out - Help
« on: February 19, 2011, 05:01:22 AM »
Hi there -- Okay I am confused on this one, and Mad  :cussing:

I am pretty sure I can *read* most of the writing here, but the main name I can not figure out.  I am pretty sure it says something like this:

Pinear ?? of
Canada
Hand made

So I am pretty sure it say "_____ of Canada Hand Made" but I have tried several different name combination to try to figure out the first word.  Looks like it starts with a *P* but I could be wrong...maybe it is a *B*.  Then I thought it said something like *Pioneer* but I give up.  It is 8.5 inches tall, and about 4 inches wide.

Can anyone figure out the first word/or name?  Does the other writing look like what I think it looks like??

Any ideas as I am failing, and falling here :thd:

I added 2 pics of the bottom  :mny:

One is a regular color -- then the second Pic, I played around with some contrast to see if it darken the letters more......just an FYI as to why there is 2 duplicate pics.....

Any thing along the lines of Pincer? Tincer? Tineer. But I'm just not finding the o for pioneer.

Have you tried the pencil rubbing the name? Maybe that would help. Definitely not Blue Mountain  :24:

Well done Rose! Once you know what it says, it's obvious, but I could not figure it out before!  :thd:
Cheers!
