Picked this up recently, local piece for me signed by William Howsen Taylor, dated 1934,usually expensive but this has a small hairline crack to the base,

I'm not familiar with Ruskin pottery really, but it's an interesting piece Keith. I found there is a Wikipedia page about Ruskin with some photos of other examples so am adding the link as a handy reference here:

Might be off to the museum next week to see the collection, shame the Smethwick heritage trust museum only has one piece, I'll leave them mine if the 'kids' don't want it !
