Is it a finger ring size, TC, or a bangle?
Cheers!

It's a finger ring, doesn't fit me though, too small.

Thanks TC. Someone posted a help as to how to distinguish between ivory and bone by looking at it through a magnifier... can I remember who or where though? Hah! No chance...

<a search later> ...

Sue C explained how to identify bone here: http://www.yobunny.com/pottery/index.php?topic=10260.msg26443#msg26443
Cheers!

Your box must pre-date before they banned ivory, otherwise it would be illegal for a jeweller to sell it. Don't ask me when they banned it though.

Hmm, the ring has those darkened lines in it just like your box, i would think ivory too. There are no holes in it, pretty smooth.
