A sign of more things to come! My set of three swirl vases which I've since found out are 3-D printed thermoplastic. They're really lightweight. Apparently according to the designer/maker
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Vantage3DPrints?ref=l2-about-shopname
they are made using a biodegradable plastic made from cornstarch "PLA". Incredible stuff!

Fascinating Anne! I've found there is a place near us that collects up plastic lids and shreds them to create new plastic and then creates new items from that. So far they do combs and plant pots, but vases might be the next step, who knows!
