I dont have a problem with that, the high fired glazes on these will often leave a paler rim where the glaze has run away from (thined) on the fine rims reveaving the white porcelain boby colour, it's an intentional detail, but it still has a high glaze over the rim, unless the piece has been resprayed with a varnish it looks OK to me, and a very beautiful example as well.
Please put a pic of yours up too when you've time, you know what it's like at a fair we only took a few seconds coming to a decision so it would be good to have another look.
