Topic: Art Deco/Moderne Signed Lamp

Hi folks!  I have a wonderful lamp with a signature that I just can not figure out.  It looks so familiar but I can't come up with anything.  Any ideas are welcomed!  Here is a link to the photo's on Flickr!

Laura I keep looking at this and I still can't figure it out... do you think the maker was a doctor in his/her spare time?   I think it's one of those things that we'll have to wait for a labelled or catalogued version to come along, unless we're lucky and have someone come along who can make out what it says. It's an interesting lamp though, hope you solve the puzzle.

Hiddy ho Pip! At first I believed it was glass....cased over a design but touching and holding it....it feels and sounds like porcelain.... it is  supported on a clear shaped acrylic and ebonized circular metal stand, the deco shade is satin glass.

Hi Anne! I know what you mean.... I sit here on my computer and I keep staring at that signature.  It is just KILLING me!  I like to think of myself as a detective....atlas....I am NO Sherlock HOlmes! LOL!!!
