Metal wall plaques - brass backed, enamel fronts

I am clueless about these. No idea where they were from, how old, or anything! One is smaller - approx 4.5", the other is 6" approx diameter. They are brass based I think, with enamelled patterns on the front. I've always thought of them as looking sort of Turkish but I could be way off base!

I always thought these were Indian, or at least they make similar looking things.

TC you could be right, they just reminded me of some Turkish patterns I'd seen, but they could just as easily be Indian, or from somewhere else. :)  I just liked them. 8)
