Kingwood Pottery & Surrey Ceramics. What's the connection?
« on: September 20, 2008, 05:14:55 PM »
I've seen pieces with this flower pattern from Surrey Ceramics in the past, but have just bought a set of mugs with an additional Kingwood Pottery label on each one.

Does anyone know what the connection between the two is please?  Did Surrey Ceramics use to be known as Kingwood Pottery, or vice versa?  I haven't been able to find anything about Kingwood Pottery, other than Michael Cardew potted there at one time.

Is it worth going back to buy the other odd pieces - each labelled?

TIA :)
