Handmade fish - Christofer ?
« on: March 18, 2010, 01:28:22 PM »
this piece strikes me as foreign the way the "Christopher" is spelt, namely "christofer", until I read "handmade" on the first line.  There is something on the bottom but can't decifer

Hi there:
I zoomed in on the computer ....and it sort looks like *L. Cate* or *L. CAYE*.  Try dusting it with a light talc to see if it picks up more letters, or taking a pic right near a very strong light source as sometimes the camera sees more than we do.  Please Re-post the pic here for use to see it then...

on closer inspection with my magnifier I am thinking that the C and R of the christian name christofer could also be the first and last letter of the word underneath....starting to look like Cotter to me.  Did a quick google and nothing grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

nope, doesn't bring anything up on Google.  Unusual in that Christofer is spelt that way instead of Christopher, Google picks up nothing

Is it my mind playing tricks on me -- but in the very first pic here posted -- when I zoomed it in on the computer -- there looked to be a small circle with something that looked like a simple Ram Head, or a carrot, or the letter Y in a circle.  It is on the right side just over, and down a bit from the word MADE...I really had to ZOOM into the picture.

So not sure IF that is something -- or not....???

ADDED After post (Modified):

Also, I have a little maginify glass that (believe it or not) but when I put it in front of my camera lens -- and even though my camera is already on CLOSE up -- I can still bring things in closer.

I am going to post this example over in another board here, so this here:
