Plastic Paper Weight (??)
« on: May 17, 2010, 08:33:39 AM »
Hi there:
Bought this - a plastic PW.  I think it is older, as I seem to recall these.  It is clear plastic (could it be Lucite) with some artificial green leaves in it, and grapes, that might be make of something?

Could this be Lucite?  Is it old? Any info much appreciated......Thxs

Lots more makers but here is one which can give you search terms. http://www.hafodgrange.co.uk/

Vincent Ysart also did them during his retirement, never seen one.

Thanks for the Reply Frank...

This one might also just be a candle (tealight) holder too, as there is a place for something like that on top.  Still may be??? a Tealight type of paperweight.....

It is kinda neat...   ;)
