Indian metal trays
« on: May 20, 2010, 01:20:26 PM »
For charity, i'm looking for information and value for these Indian trays. One is brass and the other one is either a funny looking brass or a bronze.

Looks a little bit like the brass one, though this one i have is more solid. That one also appears to be plated.

The decoration looks more like the other one, the paint is filled into the etched/hammered marks.

A tremendous amount of brassware comes out of India, it's a huge industry over there so always a good place to start methinks.
Cheers!
