Any marks on it anywhere? Base, figure, or anywhere?
Cheers!

Hi there:
I had something like this - but it was Pewter.
I think that the metal is pewter, and this was made for something, or some company

Looks like a Guy in a Dress - - - India as a place made?  Or just a more stylized figure of Jesus ??  Just guesses.....

Thanks so much for the better pics -- and the other pics made the item look more *silver* (pewterish) to me -- so I welcome the new photos.

the last photo looks like Bronze, but the other two pics almost look like it has a copper (old penny look) to it.  I have been trying to research an metal item too -- and I know for that I did find info where pieces were made with a mixture of bronze and copper.  The ONLY reason why I mention this is because it (might) help to expand our google search......that is all.

For example, I was looking for an item once in Google under ceramic and porcelain and nothing even came up close to what I was looking for.  Then in my google travels I found something a bit closer under the word Stoneware.  Well as soon as I typed that into Google - the identity of the item was easy.

So I am just saying that sometimes *what we think something is* may not be what others see it as....plus this helps by expanding what we think it is -- might just expand what we find to for info.

I will try to hunt around using the words *Bronze, Copper, Metal, Metal alloy, wood, plinth, stand, wood block, metal on wood block, decorative art, statue, stylized metal art on wood, stylized figurine on plinth, metal statue on wood.....etc.....etc....you get where I am going.

How tall is it?  I do not think you gave the measurements.  I am assuming by the pic that it is at least 12 inches tall ???

Thanks
