Another oriental piece - bowl and spoon

My youngest bought me this lovely large bowl about ten years ago from a charity shop, along with a spoon, http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y195/glassie/DSCF1497.jpg which at first glance looks as though it matches, but has a different pattern.  The bowl rings like a bell when gently tapped - in fact it sounds like a gong.  The spoon has several little stumps on the underside, but these might be from being placed in a kiln on supports when fired.  Both pieces have enamel decoration.  The bowl is plain on the underside, so may be it was meant to be purely decorative and not to be used for food?  Although there is surface wear on the inside base.

The bowl has some red characters in a triangle, but I don't know whether this one is Chinese or Japanese, or which way the triangle is meant to be shown, so here are two images

Any ideas as to whether it is Chinese or Japanese please, and a possible translation of the characters? (Keith  ??? :kissy: if I'm forgiven for suggesting that you might have "furry ears") ;)

Ok,I've tried my best,Chinese(and Japanese make my eyes go :czy:) so I think it says, top right to left  'Jiangxi',a province, then bottom right to left,'Jingdezhen' make or made is the last character which,I think is used in reference to companies produce, the date from the mid 1960's onwards,it's very confusing the kanji dictionary I have(Japanese) has 47,000 character variations so confusion is an understatement :czy: :czy: :czy: ;D

Thanks Keith.  Much appreciated ;)  I was just curious.
It will go back in the cupboard where it is safe.  Unfortunately, I've gone more contemporary, and it looks out of place, but I wouldn't part with it.  It comes out at Christmas time on the Christmas table where it is used.
Hope your eyes have recovered now :czy: 8)  And you'll be pleased to hear that I haven't any more oriental pieces... But tomorrow is another day ;D
