A small oak set of draws

I think this is modern .it is made of oak and has deferent wood inlays .Still its good for keeping pins and things in  :bfly:

The pattern on the front looks very Japanese in style,are there any marks?

No there are no marks but when i first got it you could not see the pattern till i wiped it clean .and wedged in one of the drawer was these two pieces of bone.

Those are very interesting,not sure what they're for ??? have you looked on the bottom of the drawers and also the inside back of the piece,some oriental pieces have faint chalk type marks ;D

Wondering it this could be Tramp Art (folk art) or even a Salesman Sample......worth digging some more.  Can you open one of the draws to show the workmanship?

The draws are not dovetailed but chamfered and glued mahogany.its the two pieces of bone that i find interesting i think they may be a early musical instrument
