I am truly amazed and bow to your superior bargain shopping. I offer you this crown  :jstr: in honour of being the queen of shoppers!   :jstr: = Antique Rose.

That being said, I did get a Sunbeam mixmaster, clean as a whistle, The kind that has the permanent stand, two bowls and beaters for $10.00 this morning!  :rn:

The Sunbeam mixer was a good Deal too!  I see those going from anywhere from $55 to $100 depending on Model, year, and condition. So $10 is a SUPER buy too!!

The old ones work the best !!

I am not the Queen of bargain hunting, only working within the means of my budget....lol.  But yes that is what I paid for it.  Somebody else wanted it before me (but were out of the area) and did not show up for it -- so then the folks called me.  I said I would be there is 15 minutes, and I was!!

They had first said it was only 3 feet, but then when I got there and saw how big it was, they said that they did make a mistake with the measurements.  Yes, it is HUGE!!!

....Just like those Murano Glass Lamps (Pink, maybe 1950's era) over on the Glass forum -- when I found those for only $60 for the pair (at the other end of Canada) -- I did not care.  I HAD to have them.  Total cost to buy and ship was $100.  Then as we saw on Ebay some sold like that (except blue) for $1200.00.

When you gotta work with your budget, and sometimes you get lucky.....but when you find something, the best thing to do is *Jump at it..*

:sign_thanks:  Maybe because I was a single Mom, I just can find a bargains.....  lol

Being Marked 1956 must help some with the value to, since that confirms it age.....and not me guessing at it,  but proof.
Every flower that has ever bloomed, had to go through a whole lot of DIRT FIRST......:flowers2:
