And now I can add pics of my Lucas piece too (having unearthed the camera again!) - shot of the topside and one of the incised mark on the base.
Lang gives dates as from 1956, with the possible addition of the words Hastings Pottery from 1963.

Another Hastings Pottery bowl, this time the base clay is a russet red colour. Same double fish mark on it though.
