Interesting site will have a look at that later,in regards to Stevens post I'm having trouble sorting out the characters,starting with the highlighted one in the pic' below this can be 'yama' meaning mountain,peak,heap ,pile,climax and a few others it is also common at the end of names and is pronounced 'zan' like Taizan or Meizan,famous potters.The other characters Steven mentioned are 'ana' meaning hole or cave but can also be 'ketsu' which can mean,hole,slit,gap,blank,bum!
or even 'dark horse' to name a few,why did I ever start learning Japanese? not a common language in the West Midlands,not given up yet though
