Topic: Lilac Paisley shawl (Royal Doulton)

Good morning all,
I know that these figures are a dime a dozen but from what I can see, looking at others on the internet, this one seems to have unusual markings on the base. Can anyone confirm this, or am I just not looking properly?
She belongs to my Mum who can't stand her because of her smug expression 
Any help greatly appreciated!

She seems to date to between 1902 and 1930. The initials are painter's marks. Looks fine to me. Paisley Shawl is the range. The other number is either the registration number of the design, or more likely the process by which she was made. Someone with the blue book could help date this accurately, otherwise I will guesstimate later from the glass marks

Hi Sue, this is what I was trying to convey; all the ones I have seen have these very few marks. Mum's has many more, I wonder what they mean?

Hi, she is early, and may be a miniature - however, you can see the number M5, which indicates she ought to be Miniature Sweet Anne - Miniature Paisley Shawl is M4, and usually with much stronger colours on the shawl. I don't have the book up here near the computer, so I'll have a good look later.  Do you know how tall she is?

RD No 753120 was registered sometime between the 10th and 17th March 1930. Can't pin it closer than that from the Blue Book.

Being a glassie, I don't know what the Blue Book is.. hope someone has one!

Do you know how tall she is?

She is quite small, I would guess about 9 or 10 cm. And the colours are indeed muted. Thanks for the info about names and numbers being painted on.
