Vernon Ward was very popular in the 50s-60s I think. I remember seeing prints by him on sale in various places. Mum had one of swans on a river - he seems to specialise in birds from what I can remember.

That first one's got me in stitches. Now that's what I call a good barter.
I wonder how old mine is, the print is done in the old fashioned way, much like early victorian prints. The frame is wooden but I think it has plaster over the top.
