CHANEL No.22 - ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS

Hi All

A while back I had a bit of a Royal Book problem.........

This is an advert for Chanel No.22 from The Illustrated London News, 6 June 1953 - Coronation Ceremony Number.

Has anyone ever heard of No.22?  I haven't and I have a huge Chanel problem!

Thanks Sue, I was never able to find anything about it when I looked before.  I'll have a proper read now.

Weird how the article spells Chanel wrongly, with 'nn'........

I don't think it was you Sue, the first article did spell it wrong, but 2nd one is right.

Anyway, good find.  I'm going to lurk on the Chanelworld.com forum now.....
