Hi Anne, it?s a bit disappointing I'm afraid. Thought I had found more...
This is from antikbrevkassen:
" The ceramics company Nordisk Brugskunst ( Nordic Applied Art) was founded around 1946 by Normann Zeuthen who introduced the name "Zeuthen Keramik" in 1948. This name was used thereafter.
It was quite a large pottery with 10 - 15 employees who produced a wide selection of practical or purely decorative items in red clay. Several designs were the work of Edith Nielsen who went on to get her own place, ditto Eigil Knuth, who was responsible for a couple of designs.
Articles were mostly seen with a partial glaze decoration of dots, stripes, clover leaves, small flowers or stars and all were made at a time when many potteries and designers were experimenting with glazed red clay."
There is mention of two books being written about ceramics in Denmark which should include info about Zeuthen;I haven't been able to trace them
Tip from antique expert in one of the newspapers re. "what's hot, what's not "
"if you see Zeuthen, buy it! It won't lose it's value"
