Only about 20 to 30 pieces Pip,I bought a very unusual one last week,i'll put a pic of it and some other stuff next week.
Eric really was a character, known in Newlyn for throwing wild parties as much as for his pottery.

I don't think the final sale price had anything to do with me Dan, I'm just a amateur seller at 46 sales (no other ID's). I don't think the 10" cat had ever been seen before at that height, which made it quite rare.

Hello there dan and TC
I have really enjoyed the pictures and chat however although my knowledge is very limited I myself got a little confused there for a minute until you explained dan.

(Mod: Photo's now corrected or deleted)

I have off work for a while what with operations etc and have got interested in pottery. I came across Leaper and was bowled over particularly by the glazes. Love the picture of the three peacock plates dan and the reds on those figures were brilliant.
Its a pity dan your Leaper collection is all boxed up as I would really like to get an idea of the full range of leapers.
Any chance on day that they will see the light of day?

Many thanks again.
Those sites have been my primary source so far (the Carn site and the Studio Pottery) as i was initially attracted to troika being an exiled cousin jack and feeling somewhat close to the 'earth' so to speak.
I also looked at Carn and Celtic when i started to look at cornish pottery. However Troika is too expensive for me and the others, particularly the Carn, seemed a bit over hyped to me for what it really is (my wife bought me the Carn book with which i was disappointed with -almost a sales promotion book).
However something in the Leaper has really got to me - i want to possess it (is that how this potter lark gets to you!!) and find out about him and his output.
I would really be intrigued when you get your collection out as i would like to get hold of any copies of the photos and if your going to sell any I would recommend you do it on ebay otherwise i might follow you around the markets and have less competition!!!!
By the way when is all the Leaper going to come out of cupboards and lofts as a lot must have been produced!!!!

PS TC does that red owl scare the cats!!!!
